Las Vegas odds makers have given the three Mars missions currently in route to the Red Planet 2:1 odds of all successfully failing. Probes from the U.S., Japan and the European Space Agencies are finally arriving at Mars in what is being billed as possibly the biggest "Trifecta of Failure" in recent memory.

Funny! But the Rovers are just like the Energizer Bunny. Extended mission ahead.

The Japanese and Europeans set single probes while the Americans sent twins. Which will only run out of power when the solar cells are covered with to thick of a film of dust for it to store enough energy to keep the rover warm at night. But until then they will keep going and going.... until only a dull dim of the energizer bunnies drum can be heard in the distance.
