Instruments aboard a European satellite orbiting Mars have confirmed the presence of a vast expanse of water ice at the planet's south pole, overlaid in a small area by a veneer of frozen carbon dioxide, scientists reported yesterday.TrackBack URL for this entry:

why dont they show what was seen on the edge of the water ice deposits.

Can not see the story link without registering. So what are you referring to, is there another link to be seen for what you are referring too. Does what ever has been seen in photo's appear to be something that looks out of place or is it identifiable.

doesnt ever planet after earth have ice on the north and south poles and what color is the ice has the rover taken samples of it and what is it realy made out of.

The only planet besides Earth with polar caps of ice is Mars. Although there is a coating of frozen CO2 or carbon dioxide, they are mostly dust and water ice.
