While robots have been scurrying around Mars for months, researchers here on Earth have been trying to make a little bit of Utah seem more like the Red Planet. Six-member teams have spent weeks in a silo-shaped module here trying to simulate what astronauts might endure should they ever wander Mars. Found your drudge report site looks interesting from a news stand point with all the possible links to other sites. Funny how only 30 pounds for boots, plus a back air pack would weigh you down enough for running around on Mars but that must be alot of weight to carry here on Earth still the same.
