Of the many intriguing observations taken by the Mars rovers, one of the most interesting was not of the surrounding geology. Rather, it was an image of the martian atmosphere. Caught in action was something streaking through the sky.TrackBack URL for this entry:

Well, whatever it was, it was NOT the secret 3rd lander Hope entering the Martian atmosphere for a more interesting landing site!
It was just pure chance that the rover was looking UP at that exact moment that rock/old space junk came burning in. . .
Yeah, yeah - sure, because the rovers look up aimlessly in the sky for no reason so much of the time "instead of looking DOWN at the ground" something like this was bound to happen. No way this was pre-planned - now move along shepple - ha,ha
