A group of mice will be trained and sent off the planet in 2006 to help pave the way for a human visit to Mars. This is a serious space project by US-Australian scientists. But before the rodents rocket away from earth, a Chinese company will create a sci-fi cartoon based on their interstellar adventures. "The Mouse Tronaut" is the first cartoon based on a real space project, designated to bring a hi-tech and adventurous feel to young audiences in China.TrackBack URL for this entry:

My kids I think will love the cartoon. I see from the wheel outer part of craft is a nice big hamster wheel for artificial gravity.

I think the mice should be trained at antarctica first; this way if there are any bad seeds in the group they can weed them out before they are confined to close quarters for the length of time required for the journey.
It's very possible arguments will break out and the mice will kill each other over anything from bathroom breaks to sexual favors.
I mean, they are rodents after all.
