The cuts to NASA's fiscal year 2005 budget request contained in the House Appropriations Committee's NASA spending bill effectively would halt the agency's plans to develop a Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) and achieve new breakthroughs in in-space propulsion, according to Administrator Sean O'Keefe. I am still disheartened the X-38 CRV for ISS Alpha was cancelled. That will seriously hinder the science output for the station if it cannot be crewed to the fullest capacity. It looks like Bush's Space Exploration plan calls for the USA to pawn off ISS to Russia. BAH! We need to return to flight ASAP!!!
